A woman with an appetite for the finer things, Loon Rhouj (33, she/her) fills her time searching for good food, pleasant environs, and an easy living. While she possesses no small talent for restorative magics, she prefers to avoid the to-and-fro demands of the adventuring life whenever possible. She manages The Bottom Line with an ineffective fist clad in a velvet glove.
Loon is fussy, anxious, and overly concerned with the affairs of others. If you squint, you could view it as Caring A Whole Lot -- but it usually comes off as pretty annoying. Loon lives in search of her next tea break -- perhaps it's the only thing to keep her chill?

Baelsar's Wall: Loon was born in the East Shroud before the wall went up -- she escaped as a teen for Gridania just in time to avoid being trapped in occupied territory. She's still got some strong feelings about this when it comes up.Pleasant Pasttimes: Loon spent her teen and young adult years whiling away the time (and her disposable income) in search of idle leisure. She's always up to gush about little luxuries like tea, pastry, and fine clothing.Language of Flowers: How did Loon earn her monthly macaron budget? She put together floral arrangements for all manner of clientele -- predominantly wealthy visitors on rustic holiday looking for a 'quaint Gridanian gift'. She's still got a deft hand and keen eye for the art, and delights in talking shop with those who are interested.Ishgardian Etiquette: Loon is obsessed with Ishgard and its high houses -- she sees them as the pinnacle of noble politesse. To that end, she's spent a lot of time studying up on etiquette, custom, and the latest trends and fashions of Ishgard. If she gets drunk enough, she may even speak a bit of 'Ishgardian' at you. It's a little embarrassing.Cute Wee Beasties: Gobbies, in particular. Loon's obsessed with them, can't get enough of their mannerisms and funny ways of speaking. This does go beyond bemused curiosity and into a genuine affection, however -- Loon would drop everything for the chance to work in Idyllshire to help the causes of the gobbieflock. It's just a very strong conviction, you see.

Every character has a story...

Over the past few years of roleplaying in FFXIV, it's become clear that our characters' appearances are integral to the storytelling we try to achieve. Whether that means a particular favorite glamour or an intricate and specific mod setup, looks can be everything.I've combined my multiple years of art commissions experience with my multiple years of 'modding this darn video game' experience to offer commissions for the FFXIV roleplaying community. I offer the following services for gil, to be paid on the Aether data center. Price is dependent upon complexity!

The Victorian Goth Catgirl herself...

As far as commissions or other art go, feel free to dress Loon in whatever you'd like. You can pick any of the below outfits or have fun doing something else. Extra points for historical fashion of any kind, I'm a superfan.
Note for artists who care about this sort of thing: The ref labeled 'Dawntrail' is the most recent one. If you don't vibe with it, feel free to use one of the prior ref outfits/hairstyle. I really don't mind! ♥

Hi there! Call me K.
I'm just a she/her in my late 20s with a catgirl OC. I don't do social media or internet presence. You can find me irl at midwestern US conventions. My interests outside of FFXIV include costuming (cosplay and historical) and the best Pokemon of all time -- my beloved Gulpin.

Yours truly in a Loon costume I sewed.
